Intro to Alien Invasion is out there in the world! Thank you to everyone who was so great to us, and who came out to see us at Oblong Books, at Newtonville Books, and at BookCourt. We had a terrific time and our educational message seems to be spreading!
If you would like to order a copy of the book, I’d like to suggest that you follow this link to Oblong Books. They have a few signed copies left and are terrific about shipping anywhere. I will be returning to Oblong to sign more as necessary, but future signed copies will, alas, probably just be signed by yours truly. The ones in stock as I write this are signed by the complete Intro to Alien Invasion team. While supplies last…
Wait! Is this the first you’re hearing about Intro to Alien Invasion? Here’s some good information.
Also very exciting was the news that my story, “The Curator,” originally published in Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet, was named in the list of “Other Distinguished Stories of 2014″ at the back of The Best American Short Stories of 2015. I’ve been reading the BASS series for years and to have my name turn up in those pages is a little surreal – and incredibly cool. Thank you to Brian Freeman and Richard Chizmar for getting me to write “The Curator” in the first place, and to Kelly Link and Gavin Grant for publishing it.
If you’d like to read the story, you can get a copy right here. As for the BASS series, every volume is a winner. You really can’t go wrong. This year’s edition is edited by T.C. Boyle and Heidi Pitlor, and you can get it here.
